Jeffrey is currently an Associate in the Singapore office and was called to the Singapore bar in 2016. He is also admitted as an Australian lawyer by the Supreme Court of Victoria.
His practice focuses on corporate investigations, regulatory compliance, and commercial dispute resolution. Jeffrey advises and assists clients in the conduct of corporate investigations into corruption, employee misconduct and fraud, as well as their interactions with law enforcement and regulatory bodies. He has represented clients at all levels of the Singapore Courts, and regularly acts for clients in commercial disputes, including shareholder disputes, contractual claims, and employment disputes.

Alvin is an Associate in the Marine and International Trade team in the Singapore office, with experience in civil and commercial disputes.
Alvin’s area of practice spans from shipping and commodities trading, building and construction, and restructuring and insolvency proceedings. He has represented clients in disputes arising under commodity contracts, construction contracts, as well as shareholder agreements. Alvin has also acted as defence counsel in regulatory and criminal proceedings brought under the Income Tax Act and the Workplace Safety and Health Act. In addition, Alvin has represented construction companies in arbitration proceedings under the SIAC.
In 2020, Alvin was appointed as an assessor under the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) Act 2020. He issued determinations on applications brought about by construction companies under the Act, for interim relief from performing contractual obligations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Xi Ying is an Associate of the Marine and International Trade team in the Singapore office.
Xi Ying is an Associate of the Marine and International Trade team in the Singapore office, and regularly advises clients on disputes arising out of charterparties, contracts of carriage, facility agreements and contracts for the sale and purchase of a wide range of commodities.
Xi Ying has represented shipowners, cargo owners, insurers and financiers on both contentious and non-contentious matters. For contentious matters, she has represented clients in various complex disputes stretching from Singapore court proceedings to arbitrations administered by institutions such as SIAC, LMAA and HKIAC. Her non-contentious experience includes drafting and reviewing sale and purchase agreements for commodities and shares of vessel-owning companies.

Elizabeth worked at a leading local firm for several years and was seconded to a leading international group P&I Club before joining Clyde & Co’s Singapore office in 2022.
Elizabeth’s main area of practice is in shipping and international trade matters. She acts for and advises a variety of clients in the marine industry including leading commodity trading firms, shipowners, charterers, terminals, P&I Clubs and marine insurers.
